The Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful places that I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. It's a floral wonderland tucked into the concrete jungle of midtown Atlanta - but you can catch a glimpse of the urban skyline of downtown Atlanta from the Garden's heart.
Now through October 2013, guests can enjoy a journey through Imaginary Worlds, Atlanta Botanical Garden's newest floral exhibition composed of 19 different sculptures, ranging from playful fruits to intimidating cobra snakes.
Floral Sculptures At Atlanta Botanical Garden
Butterflies, rabbits, and dancing fish, oh my! Take a stroll around the Garden to see a friendly ogre, a unicorn at pasture, and even an earth goddess "holding" water! The sculptures at Atlanta Botanical Garden's Imaginary Worlds exhibition are carefully cultivated to encourage an active imagination. The sculptures range in size, from 25 feet tall to 20 feet wide.
Tips For Making The Most Of Your Visit
Bring a camera, sunscreen, bottled water, and a misting fan to keep cool. Follow a predetermined path around the Garden so that you don't miss a thing. And most importantly - Don't forget to stop and smell the flowers!
