New Year, New Goals

Many of us mark the beginning of a new year by making resolutions or goals for the year ahead. This helps to inspire positive lifestyle changes. Let's face it - when we have the occasion to critique our lives in an honest and direct way, there are many areas that we fall short. It's human nature. I'd like to fight my nature, and have chosen to make my resolutions based upon mostly inner changes that I'd like to improve. Here are my goals for 2011:

  • Waste less money
  • Get into shape
  • Spend more time with friends
  • Be more generous
  • Be happier!

Some of us have bigger, less attainable goals for the new year. My handsome husband is going on an all-raw diet for 30 days. It isn't quite what he expected thus far, but if anyone has the strength and dedication to stick through this rough start, it's him. {Don't worry - I'll keep you updated on our progress, as I'm modifying my diet in this way, too!}
