blabla l'atelier is the most charming little place in Atlanta. Nestled in the heart of the Virginia Highlands neighborhood, this shop is truly one of Atlanta's hidden treasures. My family and I had the pleasure of attending the annual Spring Fling this past weekend, and I believe it is safe to say that a fun time was had by all!
Immediately upon arriving, I fell in love with the gorgeous window display that blabla is known for. They update it quite often, and it always looks so dreamy and gorgeous. I especially adore the large tissue paper flowers.
The lovely ladies of blabla offered a fun craft for the kids to work on while the food was being prepared. They made sun prints, which were so fun to watch develop that my daughter made two!
There was even a face painter on site to decorate the children with fun, spring designs. This was the first time that my daughter had her face painted, and I have to brag on her a little bit: She was SUCH a big girl about it! The girl that was on staff to paint did an excellent job and was so very sweet.
After the craft and the face painting, we decided to grab a bite to eat. Danger munched on an empty hot dog bun (her choice!) while sitting amongst the other giant blablas in attendance.
We can never leave blabla without purchasing at least one item, either for little Danger or one of her friends. We picked up two frogs this time: one for her, and one for her best friend's baby sister. She also got to take home a finger puppet! The finger puppets are so beautiful and detailed (and they easily fit onto an adult's finger, too!)
After spending a long, fun afternoon at the blabla Spring Fling, my happy little girl took a very long, 12 hour nap. What did you do this weekend?
